LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who died of a gunshot wound at Kosair Children's Hospital early Saturday morning after being dropped off at the emergency room has been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office says Christopher Jones, 25, died of a single gunshot wound at 4:22 a.m. Saturday. His last known address was in the 6200 block of Meter Court. Homicide detectives with the Louisville Metro Police Department are investigating, but police have not officially ruled the shooting a homicide.
LMPD's Cary Klain said the victim was dropped off at the hospital by a man and a woman, both Caucasian. Both are believed to be in their 20s. They were driving a light-colored car. There is surveillance video of the pair. Copyright 2012 WAVE News. All rights reserved.
