Pedestrian struck by car near shopping center

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A pedestrian was transported to the hospital after being struck by a car.

The incident took place around 6:30 a.m. Saturday on Shelbyville Road near the Oxmoor Center.

Police said the man suffered head injuries that are non-life threatening.

A spokesperson for Louisville Metro police said they do not expect charges to be filed against the driver.
