Man killed in single vehicle car wreck

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro police are investigating after one person was killed in a car wreck.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Police said a man was driving down Wolf Pen Branch Road, when he lost control and hit a tree. He died at the University Hospital.

Police are still investigating what caused the accident and if weather played a role. The victim's identity has not been released.
