Shamrock Foundation holds bake sale

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - An organization that helps neglected or mistreated animals in our community held a bake sale.

Shamrock Pet Foundation's St. Patrick's Special Cat Adoption and Bake Sale was held Saturday in the Feeder's Supply in Middletown.

All of the proceeds from the event will help pay for medical expenses for the animals they take in.

Backlash and violence at times have been so severe, some police said it made them hesitate or even avoid some actions on the job.
