Despite rapid advancements in software and the evolving nature of modern warfare, many key defense systems use the same legacy architecture as when they were first deployed 10 to 30 years ago. A new white paper from WSO2 examines the challenges that defense acquisition organizations face in adapting legacy systems to the current needs of the military and defense intelligence communities, as well as how new software approaches in server-based and cloud computing offer the promise to overcome these challenges.
