Juvenile arrested for starting fire at Northwest HS

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A juvenile has been arrested for starting a fire at Northwest High School.

Firefighters were called to Northwest High School just before 9:30 a.m. on a report of smoke in one of the men's restrooms.

A fire was set in a garbage can. The Colerain Fire and EMS Department responded and were able to extinguish the fire.

The building was evacuated, but no one was hurt.

Police arrested a male juvenile for aggravated arson and took him to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
