Pedestrian hit by SUV dies of injuries

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A pedestrian who was hit by an SUV on Thursday morning died from his injuries at University of Louisville Hospital.

Witnesses told police the man was trying to cross Taylorsville Road at Lowe Road against the traffic light around 6:45 a.m. when he was hit by a Ford Freestyle that was westbound on Taylorsville Road. The driver will not be charged.

The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
