Clarksville Police to use new way to catching speeders

Posted: Updated:

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Drivers in Clarksville need to slow down or you may be paying up for speeding up.

Police have set up a new mobile radar trailer that takes photos and data of drivers as they pass by.

The trailer flashes your speed and if you don't slow down to the speed limit, it can take a picture and send you a ticket.

Clarksville Police Chief Mark Palmer said they will move the trailer to different areas that have heavy speeding in hopes it will help ensure safety.
