Vehicle rear-ends JCPS bus

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Jefferson County Public School bus was rear-ended by another vehicle.

According to MetroSafe, the accident happened around 8:33 a.m. Friday on Johnsontown Road near Moonglow Avenue.

A JCPS spokesperson confirmed 16 students were on board bus number 0148 on their way to Greenwood Elementary when the accident happened.

The bus was reported to be stopped with its arm out when it was hit.

The bus suffered minor damage to the tailpipe and continued to the school.

No injuries were reported.
