LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - UofL assistant football coach Clint Hurtt has been placed on administrative leave while he works through issues related to his involvement in an NCAA investigation at the University of Miami.
"Right now we've given Hurtt just time enough where he can just go concentrate on his case, and we've given him that time," UofL head coach Charlie Strong said after practice on Friday. "It's good that he's doing that, just with the many distractions. He just can't do the job that we're asking him to do right now."
When asked if Hurtt was involved in any recruiting activities, Strong added, "No, right now, he's just totally concentrating on the case."
The Cards kicked off spring practice on Wednesday.
