JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Sentencing for a southern Indiana man found guilty of fatally stabbing his wife 57 times was delayed on Monday.

Dale Bagshaw was found guilty in January of the November 2011 murder of his wife Kelly Bagshaw, 30, in the parking lot outside his Jeffersonville apartment while the couple's two young children were inside.

Sentencing was rescheduled for April 22 because Bagshaw's attorney was out of town on Monday.

The Bagshaw children, ages 3 and 7, remain in the care of Kelly Bagshaw's sister.
