COX'S CREEK, KY (WAVE) - A new "get" to add to the list for bourbon collectors. Four Roses is set to release a special bottle and decanter to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Secretariat's 1973 Triple Crown win.

Big Red's legendary owner Penny Chenery was on hand Thursday with Four Roses Master Distiller Jim Rutledge to pick from five barrels of bourbon.

Rutledge ranks this among the best in his career.

"I'll soon be in the business 47 years, and this is the most exciting time in all those years," Rutledge said.

The Four Roses Secretariat bottles and decanters benefit the Kentucky Derby Museum and the Secretariat Foundation. Only 500 Secretariat decanters and 3,500 Secretariat bottles will be sold.

They can be buy them at the Derby Museum starting April 27 which incidentally is one week before the 139th Run for the Roses.
