Man riding in car wounded in Radcliff shooting

RADCLIFF, KY (WAVE) – Kentucky State Police are looking for the person who fired into a car full of people leaving one man with critical injuries.

According to Master Trooper Norman Chaffins, public affairs officer for the Elizabethtown post, the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Blackjack Road. 

Chaffins said the preliminary investigation shows five men were in the car when the shots were fired. The wounded man, a 19-year-old from Radcliff, was in the front seat and stuck in the face by one of the rounds fired. 

The victim, who name has not been released, was airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville. Chaffins said he was listed in critical condition late Friday.
