LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer will be working out of a temporary office for at least three more months after a pipe burst damaged offices in Metro Hall.

The mayor's office and other city offices have been relocated to different rooms in the 160-year-old building.

The pipe burst on the sixth floor of the building Saturday morning. The water then cascaded to the fourth floor Mayor's suite and second floor communications suite. The leak was not discovered until later that afternoon when the mayor's chief of staff found ankle deep water in Fischer's office.

Currently it is not clear how expensive it will be to fix the damage caused by flood.
