Vandals destroy restroom, graffiti public park

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Vandals caused damage at a Jefferson County park resulting in the closure of one of the parks restrooms.

A drinking fountain was torn out of the ground and used to smash a toilet at Iroquois Park.

The vandals also spray-painted the walls and a nearby playground with foul language and images.

Metro Parks said it will cost close to $10,000 to get everything fixed and cleaned up.
