Clarksville police discovered a moonshine still Monday night while they were arresting a man on an unrelated offense.
At around 9 p.m., officers were at a home in the 760 block of Acorn Drive to arrest Seth Hannah, 20, on a domestic assault charge.
While police were putting him into their patrol car, Hannah said there was a moonshine still in his basement that belonged to his father, John.
Police investigated the basement and found moonshine and a variety of items used to produce the illegal alcohol.
John Hannah, 49, was at home and said he was not selling the moonshine but using it for personal consumption. Officers gave John Hannah a citation and released him, but confiscated the alcohol and still.
