LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - New details from witnesses were released Monday during a court hearing for Josh Gouker and Josh Young, father-son duo accused of killing Trey Zwicker with a baseball bat.

During the hearing, the prosecution and defense attorneys for Gouker and Young made several motions.

WAVE 3 has obtained testimonies from a friend of the family who claims he saw cell phone video taken by Josh Young, then 15, which allegedly showed Gouker beating Trey Zwicker's puppy to death with a baseball bat. The manner in which the puppy was killed was similar to the way Zwicker was killed in May 2011.

Gouker's cousin told the Commonwealth that Young admitted to killing Zwicker and asked for help disposing of his blood soaked baseball bat and clothes.

The Commonwealth filed a motion Monday to submit four more inmate testimonies regarding Gouker.

"I believe all of those are attributable to Mr. Gouker and are statements about his conduct, not about Mr. Young's conduct," said Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Erin White.

Young's defense team asked for Judge Barry Willett to lower his bond and filed another motion for Gouker and young to be tried separately. Willett will decide on the motions Thursday.
