An ABC investigation at a Charlotte strip club ended with citations for several people.
A police report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says an officer and members of the Alcohol Beverage Control Unit conducted an ABC investigation at Daisy Dooks on Scott Futrell Drive in west Charlotte.
Officers showed up at about 3:30 a.m. Inside the club, officers say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. They also found alcoholic beverages out in the open, and people drinking. Members of the ABC unit say two dancers were there, dancing nude.
North Carolina law prohibits fully nude dancing or alcohol consumption at an ABC-licensed business after 2:30 a.m.
The club owner was cited for allowing the conduct. A customer was cited for consuming alcohol after 2:30 a.m., and two dancers were cited for indecent exposure.
Officers seized two bottles of Ciroc Red Berry, one bottle of Ciroc Snap Frost, one bottle of Hennessy Cognac, and two bottles of Moet Champaign.
Police say ABC violations are submitted to the North Carolina ABC Commission.
