Wake up with Cedra as she reports for WAVE 3 News Sunrise every weekday morning. While you're sleeping, Cedra will dig for the latest news happening overnight so you can start your day with the news you need to know.

Hailing from Lansing, Michigan, Cedra graduated valedictorian from J.W. Sexton High School and magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.

Prior to joining WAVE 3, Cedra covered breaking news as an on-air assignment editor at WEWS NewsChannel 5 in Cleveland, Ohio and reported daily news as a multimedia journalist at WLNS 6 News in Lansing. Cedra has also dabbled in radio as an on-air personality at WQHH Power 96.5 FM in Lansing, Michigan. 

Cedra is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. In her spare time, you will likely find her traveling, shopping, snapping pictures, or making new friends.
