LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A registered sex offender was sentenced in United States District Court after failing to inform the officials where he lived.
According to police, Ronald Dunn was convicted and served time in Indiana for child molestation.
According to authorities, after being released, Dunn was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in
Indiana on August 26, 2009. On January 26, 2010, he was convicted of failure to register as
a sex offender in California. Dunn applied for and obtained a Kentucky Driver's
License on January 3, 2012 and listed a residence in Louisville, however, he did not register with the Kentucky Sex Offender
Registry at that time.
Dunnwas sentenced to 33 months in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release.
