LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) –
Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in Louisville's west end.
According to Louisville
Metro Police Department PIO Dwight Mitchell, around 8 p.m. Wednesday police
responded to a call of a shooting in the 4100 block of West Broadway.
When officers arrived
they discovered a 16-year-old had been shot.
The victim was
transported by EMS to University Hospital what appeared to be non-life threatening
Police do not believe
the victim was a resident of the area.
According to Mitchell,
police do not have a suspect in custody.
