CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A man pleaded guilty to a fatal attempted robbery.
Nicholas Lacruze pleaded guilty to attempted robbery Thursday.
In November 2011, Lacruze was one of two men police said robbed the Q-Mart in Jeffersonville.
Police said Lacruze and Terry Wilson were armed when they attempted to rob the store, but so was the clerk. Wilson was shot by the clerk and died from his injuries, but Lacruze took off.
Clark County prosecutor Jeremy Mull told WAVE 3 in 2011 that Lacruze was charged with felony murder since he committed a robbery and somebody died during the crime.
The plea deal came with a recommended sentence of 30 years in prison.
