Happy 50th Birthday Dawne!!
Dawne's family and co-workers surprised Dawne with a surprise birthday party to celebrate her 50th birthday.
Mayor Greg Fischer proclaimed Tuesday, April 30 "Dawne Gee Day" and had this Proclamation for Dawne. "The city of Louisville honors Dawne Gee in recognition of her celebrating an entire half century of tireless advocacy and volunteerism! Dawne Gee has led by example by carrying her message of peace and non-violence to the community, spreading her love, compassion and acceptance of everyone – and asking others, in no uncertain terms – to follow her example. She firmly believes that your attitude determines your altitude, and she lives the words of another beloved Louisvillian, Muhammad Ali: "Service to others is the rent you pay for our room here on earth."
