Police respond to shooting at Lager House restaurant

WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

Police are investigating a shooting at the Lager House restaurant early Saturday morning.

When they responded, they were unable to find anyone injured. The bouncer told police that he heard a single gunshot in the back patio area. Police also heard reports that there were several fights as the establishment was closing.

The victim was later reported to be taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he or she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call West Haven Police at 203-937-3900 and ask for Detective Simone. People with information can also text an anonymous tip to 847-411.
