The University of Cincinnati celebrated All-University
Commencement awarding more than 6,360 degrees.
UC President Santa Ono lead two ceremonies on Saturday.
The first, beginning at 9:00 a.m., recognized the College of Allied Health
Sciences; Carl H. Linder College of Business; College-Conservatory of Music;
College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning; College of Nursing; and UC
Blue Ash College.
The 2:00 p.m. ceremony recognized the College of
Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services; College of Engineering and
Applied Science; McMicken College of Arts and Sciences; and UC Clermont
Sandra Heimann, vice president of American Financial
Group, American Money Management and Great American Insurance Company, addressed
the graduates as the commencement speaker.
Doctoral Hooding and the Master's Recognition Ceremony were
held on Friday. Robert Zierlof, interim vice provost and dean of the Graduate
School, led the ceremony.
In total, the Class of 2013 was awarded 743 associate
degrees, 3421 baccalaureate degrees, 1585 master's degrees, 303 doctoral
degrees and 312 professional degrees.
