Update on fire in Springfield on Texel Street

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

There are more details on the house fire in Springfield Monday night.

Firefighters say the flames caused between 100 and 150 thousand dollars in damage.

According to firefighters, two people have been displaced but there were no injuries.

The Springfield arson and bomb squad are currently investigating the cause.

Springfield firefighters knocked down a fire on Texel Street Monday night.

Flames engulfed the back of the home before 8 p.m. 

Springfield firefighters say the fire caused between $100,000 and $150,000 in damage and two people have been displaced. 

No one was injured. 

There's no word on the cause of the fire.

    Sonya Nelson says her niece, Life Lynn DeKlyen, died Wednesday evening at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Life's mother, Carrie DeKlyen, died Sept. 9, three days after giving birth to her sixth child.
