LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The victim of a deadly shooting in Old Louisville Tuesday night has been identified.
A spokesperson for the Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Jarvis Carson, 26, of Louisville apparently died of multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday morning.
The shooting was reported at 10:02 p.m. Tuesday on Oak Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets.
A neighbor said he called police after hearing shots fired from two different guns. One of them fired 13 rounds, he said.
Police do not have a suspect in custody. Family told WAVE 3 Carson leaves behind four children.
