In the first wreck, a motorcyclist collided with a car on Fern Valley Road at Industrial Boulevard.
The motorcyclist died at University Hospital after colliding with the car.
The second deadly accident happened on Lower Hunters Trace at Triplett Drive.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two motorcyclists were killed in separate accidents early Thursday morning.
In the first wreck, a motorcyclist collided with a car on Fern Valley Road at Industrial Boulevard just before midnight. The motorcyclist, identified as Philip C. Frey, 62, of Louisville, died at University Hospital around 1:20 a.m.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Frey died from blunt force injuries he suffered in the accident. Frey was not wearing a helmet.
According to Louisville Metro Police, a passenger on Frey's motorcycle was injured. The extent of those injuries was not immediately clear.
The second deadly accident happened about 2:30 a.m. on Lower Hunters Trace at Triplett Drive.
LMPD said a motorcycle driven by Victor L. Williams, of Louisville, left the roadway.
Williams, 23, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
