The Deerfield-Windsor Lady Knights hope their magical season ends this weekend with the program's first ever state title.
The Lady Knights kick off the biggest soccer game in school history Saturday, when Deerfield battles Stratford for the state title.
Head Coach Aly Joslin says the team isn't feeling the pressure of playing for the state title, and adds they've had their most focused week of practice during his tenure.
The Lady Knights have seemingly played better as the stakes raised each week in the state playoffs.
But Joslin says he believes his team has saved their best game for last.
"The girls have gotten better and better as the season's gone on. The performance against Mount de Sales was fantastic. The performance against Westminster in the second half was absolutely incredible," Joslin says. "I think if they can keep that rate up and be relaxed and do their jobs, I think certainly we can pull off the best performance we've had all year."
Deerfield kicks off against Stratford Saturday at 5:30 in Macon.
