Update: Eye witnesses say pilot is ok after plane crash in Southwick

SOUTHWICK, MA (WSHM) -

There is new information on the Plane that crashed around noon Monday.

Eye witnesses say the pilot is ok.

At approximately 12:10 p.m. today, a single engine Cessna C-182 aircraft

made a forced landing on a grass strip and flipped over in Southwick.

There was only one person on board the plane. Please check with local authorities if the pilot sustained any injuries. The FAA will investigate.

The Southwick police are currently on scene of a plane crash.

The plane went down  in the area of 247 North Loomis Street.
