LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville mother pleaded guilty in the death of her 8-month-old son.
According to Louisville Metro police, EMS was called to a home in the 4100 block of Billtown Road around 2 a.m. on January 28, 2010 after Geneva Walters gave her son, Michael Cowherd, adult-strength Tylenol PM and left him in a bathtub.
Wednesday Walters pleaded guilty to reckless homicide.
Walters is facing up to five years in prison, but would be eligible for shock probation after serving 60 days.
