LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The train is running again at The Louisville Zoo, but it is not open to the public.
The new train was commissioned Wednesday and will be commissioned again on Thursday.
The train is required to operate around the zoo a certain number of times before the zoo can obtain ownership.
The track around the zoo will remain the same.
A date when the public can ride the train has not been released. Officials at the zoo said they will not allow rides until they feel train operators are properly trained and they feel the train is safe.
