LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - If you want to take the GED, but not the fees you're in luck.
Kentucky Adult Education is footing the bill for residents who take and finish the five part test before July 31.
Cris Crowley, with Kentucky Adult Education said, "If more people can get their GED diploma, it's going to not only help that individual person if they're thinking about going to college, make them more competitive in the workforce, improve the life of their family."
Kentucky Adult Education will pay $60 for the pencil and paper test $120 if you take the test online.
