SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Scottsdale police were looking for a 78-year-old man last seen leaving his home on a bicycle Thursday afternoon.

Edward Allan Brawley left on his gray mountain bike about 12:30 p.m., as he does most every day, said Scottsdale police Officer Dave Pubins.

Brawley's wife said he normally rides his bicycle to the Hayden Road and McCormick Parkway area and normally rides for no more than an hour, Pubins said.

Brawley is believed to have had a cell phone with him, but it appeared to be off, Pubins said.

The man takes medication for high blood pressure and asthma, Pubins said.

Anyone with information about Brawley is asked to call local police.
