Workshop designed to help people looking for new job

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Kentuckiana residents will get the chance to build their skills and get a little help in finding a new job.

Next month, Congressman John Yarmuth will be holding his annual "Building your Skills" workshop at Jefferson Community and Technical College.

According to Yarmuth's website, the workshop is "designed to help Louisvillians obtain the skills they need to take full advantage of new opportunities as our economic recovery continues."

This year's workshop will be Friday, June 21 at JCTC. Registration begins at eight and the workshops start at 8:30.  

The event is free, but you must call to RSVP. That number is (502) 582-5129.

    Each re-design plan would include taking out the lane lights which show x's or arrows based on which lanes are being used during the day. There are three options the city has come up with on how to remove the lane lights.
