LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Fire and Rescue crews responded to an apartment fire in the Highlands Monday night.
According to MetroSafe, the fire started in the 1000 block of Cherokee Road at 10:30 p.m.
When crews arrived on the scene they discovered the fire was in the third floor and the attic of the complex.
The residents inside the complex were able to escape and no injuries were reported.
No foul play is suspected. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
