Oklahoma Tornadoes: How You Can Help

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Several organizations are taking part in disaster relief efforts after the deadly tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma on Monday evening. 

The American Red Cross has a shelter open in Moore and is working on opening more locations. More than 25 emergency response vehicles were in place to roll at first light on Tuesday morning. To contribute to the Red Cross effort, you can:

For family and friends trying to locate loved ones, the Red Cross encourages you to use its Safe and Well feature.

The Salvation Army is also on contributing to relief efforts in Moore. The organization also has several trucks on the ground in the disaster area prepared to assist on Tuesday. To support the Salvation Army, you can:

    There are currently nearly 300 Miracle Leagues around the country, allowing children who struggle to play on a regular baseball field the opportunity to play the game.
