HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) -

A fundraiser was held Thursday to help support breast cancer survivors.

The Pink Ribbon Girls, a non-profit which provides support, education, outreach and awareness to women diagnosed with breast cancer, held an all-day fundraiser in Hyde Park.

'Shop the Park Pink' included a one-mile walk, shopping, fitness classes, raffles and a party with live music.

Organizers of the event hoped to raise $3,000 for the cause, as well as bring in more traffic for Hyde Park Square businesses.

As part of Shop the Park Pink, area businesses pledged to donate a portion of their sales to The Pink Ribbon Girls from 5 to 8 p.m.
