Four home invasion suspects arrested

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Four people have been arrested after a violent home invasion at a couple's east Louisville home.

Investigators also recovered the SUV that was stolen from the couple during the incident at their home on Shenandoah Drive off Chamberlain Lane just before noon on Tuesday.

Police said two men stormed the home in the Bay Colony neighborhood and forced the 78-year-old husband and 76-year-old wife to the floor at gunpoint while the home was ransacked. The couple was shaken up, but not physically injured.

In addition to the SUV, investigators said the men took a number valuables from the home including jewelry and electronics.

Joshua Isiah Martin, 18, is charged with 2nd degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence and possession of burglary tools. Clarence Everet Hayes Jr., 18, Deneisha L. Johnson, 19, and Ashley Edwards, 25, are charged with 1st degree robbery.
