With only a few days left to vote, Reds first baseman Joey Votto and second baseman Brandon Phillips are still leading National League All-Star balloting in their respective positions.
In the standings released on July 2, Votto (3,622,608) leads the D-backs' Paul Goldschmidt, but Brandon Phillips' lead is dwindling at second base. He still leads with 3,411,839 votes, but Matt Carpenter (3,186,423) and Marco Scutaro (3,142,783) have slowly worked their way into striking distance.
Shin Soo Choo is 10th and Jay Bruce is 14th in the outfield.
Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- online or on a mobile device -- using the 2013 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot until Thursday, July 4, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The teams will be announced on Sunday, July 7.
The 2013 All-Star game is July 16 at Citi Field in New York. The game will be shown on FOX19.
