Police were busy early Sunday morning responding to a shooting that took place shortly before 1 a.m.
Lt. Robert Moynihan told CBS 3 that employees at the Cumberland Farms on Carew Street heard arguing, followed by gunshots.
They then saw a black male being put into a car.
Moynihan said officers were eventually called to the area of 54 Phoenix Terr., where they found the shooting victim.
He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
The victim was unable to provide any information to the police before he was taken to Baystate Medical Center.
Late Sunday morning, police said the victim was in stable condition and the incident remains under investigation.
