LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) - A young girl battling spinal muscular atrophy and confined to a powered wheelchair  mustered up the courage and strength to come to the aid of her caregiver.

Fifth grader Jenica Miller, of Floyds Knobs, received the Girl Scout Medal of Honor Monday for her actions after her nurse became dangerously dizzy in September 2012.
