Anne Schlegel's Chilled Blackberry Soup

4 c. fresh blackberries

½ c. sugar

½ c. nonfat milk

2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 c. plain yogurt

Pulse blackberries in food processor/blender and blend until smooth.  Add sugar, nonfat milk, lemon juice and vanilla extract.  Blend.  Add yogurt and blend on low till thoroughly combined.  Strain mixture through a sieve while pouring into a bowl to separate the seeds from the soup.  Cover bowl and chill before serving.  Yield:  6-8 servings.
