The Norwood KOPS program invited the community to a neighborhood cleanup on Saturday afternoon.
Norwood Police asked residents to help pick up trash and debris around the neighborhood. Supplies were provided for trash pickup and free hot dogs and drinks were provided to participants.
KOPS, Keep Our Neighborhood Safe, was developed by the Building, Fire, Health and Police Departments.
The goal of the program is to target problem areas through code enforcement as well as guiding property owners and residents on how to improve their neighborhoods, making them a better place to live.
