Blood drive held to honor fallen officer

NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - A blood drive was held in honor of an officer who was killed in the line of duty.

Six years ago, on June 18, 2007, Floyd County officers Frank Denzinger and Joel White were shot while responding to a domestic dispute between a mother and her teenage son.

A blood drive was held in New Albany on Tuesday to collect blood donations in honor of the fallen police officer.
