Take control of your last days, or the days after death by providing seven simple conversation starters. Stan Craig, an internationally known religious and financial advisor who is based in Louisville, can discuss the following seven conversation starters about death:
1. When an acquaintance or loved one is ill or injured
2. When someone you know has died
3. When someone you know is facing a life-threatening illness
4. When a major life event takes place
c. New job
5. When a long vacation or overseas trip is planned
6. When visiting the doctor for your own needs/concerns
7. When we read about disasters or events in which unexpected death occurs

Pet Help Line
The KHS Pet Help Line is a hotline available to anyone in the community who has any pet-related questions. The phone is staffed Monday-Friday by a behavior expert and trained volunteers. The KHS Pet Help Line is funded by a grant from the ASPCA. The goal is to help keep pets in their homes and out of area shelters by providing pet owners with the behavior tools and resources they need to keep their pets.
The KHS Pet Help Line provides free advice for common cat and dog behavior issues, and also helps connect pet owners to local resources, such as pet-friendly housing guides, low-cost spay/neuter resources and pet food bank referrals. The free KHS Pet Help Line can even provide referrals for rescues specializing in "pocket pets" and wildlife. Call 509-4PET (4738) or visit them at their website, firstname.lastname@example.org.
