Pet Help Line

The KHS Pet Help Line is a hotline available to anyone in the community who has any pet-related questions. The phone is staffed Monday-Friday by a behavior expert and trained volunteers. The KHS Pet Help Line is funded by a grant from the ASPCA. The goal is to help keep pets in their homes and out of area shelters by providing pet owners with the behavior tools and resources they need to keep their pets.

The KHS Pet Help Line provides free advice for common cat and dog behavior issues, and also helps connect pet owners to local resources, such as pet-friendly housing guides, low-cost spay/neuter resources and pet food bank referrals. The free KHS Pet Help Line can even provide referrals for rescues specializing in "pocket pets" and wildlife. Call 509-4PET (4738) or visit them at their website, helpline@kyhumane.org.
