LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Derby winners Calvin Borel and Pat Day were among the jockeys who made a special stop on Friday.

The riders brought toys and autographed memorabilia to the children at Kosair's Children's Hospital.

The jockeys have been stopping by Kosair for decades. The event used to be an Oaks Day tradition, but since the Kentucky Derby week has grown over the years they moved the event to June so the jockeys can spend more time with the children.

Churchill Charlie and President Kevin Flanery were also there to raise the children's spirits.
