INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WAVE) - Three children attending an Indianapolis summer camp were injured Saturday afternoon by lightning.
According to WTHR, two were taken to Riley Hospital, with one of them in critical condition. A third child was transported to St. Vincent Hospital.
Around 1:40 p.m., emergency crews responded to the Goldman Union Camp Institute where they learned that three children had been struck by lightning.
It is not clear which of the three victims, a 9-year-old girl from Missouri, a 9-year-old boy from Kentucky and a 12-year-old boy from Ohio, was in critical condition.
The boy from Kentucky is from Louisville.
