Several TARC bus stops will be removed during construction for the Ohio River Bridges Project.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Planned construction on the Ohio River Bridges Project will eliminate several TARC bus stops.
Three bus stop locations along Main and Market streets will be removed on Monday, July 15. Those stops include one on the north side of Main Street under I-65 and two others nearby on Market Street.
Passengers who use the stops on the Main-Market Street trolley route and on Route #15-Market Street can use other stops within two blocks that will remain in service for the same routes.
Suggest alternate stop are as follows:
For passengers of the stop on the north side of Main Street near I-65 on the Main-Market trolley westbound, use the trolley stops in front of Pee Wee Reese Statue at Louisville Slugger Field or Main Street at Jackson Street.
For passengers of the stop on the north side of Market Street west of Hancock Street on the Route #15-Market Street westbound line, use stops at Market Street west of Clay Street or Preston Street at Jefferson Street.
For passengers of the stop on the north side of Market Street east of Jackson Street on the Route #15-Market Street westbound line, use stops at Market Street west of Clay Street or Preston Street at Jefferson Street.
TARC anticipates other stop location changes as construction progresses and will be circulating information as those changes are determined. For updates, follow TARC on Twitter (@ridetarc) or visit our website www.ridetarc.org.
