CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A trial date has been set for the man in connection to a standoff in Sellersburg that resulted in the injury of a Clark County deputy and the death of an Indiana K-9 officer.
Police said Joshua Priddy shot and injured Clark County detective and SWAT member Chris Proctor and shot and killed the K-9 officer named Kilo.
Priddy's family has said in the past that he suffers from mental issues.
In court Monday a judge set Priddy's trial for November. A public defender was also appointed to handle Priddy's case.
